Videos do have a shelf life. Over time, videos can become corroded, caused by the metal in the magnetic video tape.

This corrosion can distort image and sound on video cassettes, which is why it is important to retrieve your treasured memories by video & Camcorder Cassette Transfer, whilst it is still possible.

Your video and Camcorder cassette transfer, can be put on to a finished DVD or to a digital editable file. The DVD is rendered to industry book standard. Therefore it is predominantly for popping into a DVD player and watching on a television. Whilst editing a finished DVD is not impossible, it does require a fair amount of computer knowledge and a few extra bits of software. If it is that you would like to edit the captured footage, then it would be far simpler for you to have the editable digital files rather than a finished DVD. These can be copied onto you PC quite easily and then can be edited using video editing software.

Video and Camcorder cassettes come in various running time formats. In addition to this, they may have been recorded in either long play or short play. Rest assured our equipment can handle all of these without any problem whatsoever.
